You’re excited that you were finally diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. This could explain your years of chronic fatigue, weight gain and headaches. You start using your new CPAP machine at home with some degree of anticipation as well as a bit of trepidation. The first few days are a bit challenging but you decide to keep trying. After another 3 weeks of misery, you call your sleep doctor but she is not helpful. The equipment company send you a new mask, but that makes no difference. At this point you’re ready to give up.
